About the Author: Mobeena Shafqat is a Lecturer at Forman Christian College University in Lahore, Pakistan. She teaches in the Writing-Communication and Pakistan Studies Departments. Her region of interest is South Asia-its past, culture, language and art. She enjoys teaching and researching, is intrigued by stories and likes painting with watercolor.

Mobeena Shafqat graduated from Forman Christian College in 2015, majoring in History and English Literature. She completed her Master's in South Asian Studies from Columbia University in 2018.
