Reflections on historical, political, sociological, and mental health aspects.

The book offers some reflections on the development of an individual in Pakistani society and on the perceptions of Pakistani people towards their mental health problems. However, prior to that, it takes a quick glance at certain aspects of the historical, political, and power struggle in the subcontinent that led to the creation of Pakistan at the end of the British Raj in India in 1947. The development of an individual in any given society can be better understood once the background, history and culture of that society are known. Chapter two touches upon the contributions of some eminent philosophers who explored the working of the human mind in their respective times.
